    SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - 400 regions across the United States submitted proposals to the United States Department of Commerce to become designated tech hubs.

    “They designated 31 tech hubs across the United States, out of the out of the 400 that were permitted, Texoma was one of those selected,” President of The Sherman Economic Development Corporation, Kent Sharp shared.

    SHERMAN, Texas (KTEN) — Members of the Texoma Semiconductor Tech Hub met at Austin College on Monday to finalize their application for a federal grant that could reach $75 million.

    Texoma is one of 31 applicants nationwide for funding provided by the U.S. Economic Development Administration.

    If the Texoma Tech Hub receives the money, it will go toward training needed at semiconductor facilities.
